✨Sunrise Physio’s Belated Holiday Party
Our holiday celebration looked a little different this year. The theme was “things that make us feel good”
✨Sauna , including river plunge in the deschutes river
✨Restorative yoga class wjth
✨Lovely dinner and a wonderful time connecting with each other
The world needs us all at our best right now and I couldn’t be more grateful for this team of people who work so hard to bring their best selves to work everyday.

The cutest little patient has been coming in to work on trouble with pooping and occasional bed wetting. Today she brought in her journal of all her PT activities that she does everyday including rainbow massage for GI motility, cupping her very tight abdominal muscles, pelvic floor stretches, rolling her belly on a ball, drinking ample water and proper fiber consumption. She has gone from one painful bowel movement every 5-7 days to one BM every 1-2 days with much less pain. She has also made great gains in spine flexibility and core strength. The best part is she is learning how her body works and is no longer ashamed about talking about her body. She was so excited to be at PT today and to tell me all about her journal and her progress🤩She was open to sharing her journal because she and her mom wanted other kids to learn about pelvic health PT options for kids with these issues🥰 And it was so humbling to watch this adorable little girl take control of her body and her health without shame. 🌅

We’ve been very busy in the clinic and it’s easy to forget what a gift it is to work with such an amazing team ✨ So grateful to work with this group of talented, caring humans! And lucky that we get to help people be more present and at peace in their bodies. I’m pretty sure I can speak for all of us at Sunrise Physio when I say it’s one of our most favorite things to do🤩 🌅

Honorable mention to my Dad for helping me with projects at the office during his visit😍 Over the years I helped him at his gym in CA and now he comes up and helps me at our clinic in Bend when I need an extra set of hands with projects. Grateful for the him and the rest of our “village” who support Sunrise Physio and keep it running so it can continue to support all who enter✨ 🌅

Jordyn Maxwell is a wonderful addition to our Sunrise Physio team! ✨ Jordyn received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Prior to that she earned her Bachelor’s in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon.

Jordyn began her PT career specializing in pelvic health. She is a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and has substantial training in treating pelvic health conditions. She also has her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. Jordyn now treats a blend of pelvic and orthopedic conditions and enjoys integrating her pelvic health training with orthopedic treatments.

Jordyn grew up in Bend, Oregon and enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active with her partner and their dog. She loves climbing, hiking, running, and skiing. Jordyn is passionate about getting people back to doing what they love.
