Homemade Almond flour tortilla! YUM! 5 ingredients.

1 cup Almond flour blanched

1/2 cup Tapioca flour or Psyllium husk

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp of Cumin (not required)

Pinch of Xanthan gum and no more or it won't turn out right.

1 to 1 1/3 cup of water.

Mix dry ingredients together then slowly blend in the water. Start with 1 cup then add a bit more, if it is not like the texture of a thick crepe then it is still to thick. It should look as thin as crepe batter or a really runny pancake batter.

In heated pan on medium, pour 1/3 cup batter in the center then pick the pan up and twirl in a circle until the batter is round like a tortilla cook for 5 minutes then carefully turn over and cook the other side for 5 minutes.

I usually make 5 batches then freeze 4 batches.

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings....

DO YOU KNOW.. The difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...gets very interesting!

Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.

Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years .

And now, for Margarine..

Very High in Trans fatty acids.

Triples risk of coronary heart disease ...

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC... and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT.

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value ; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow.

Why? Because it is nearly plastic . Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Cancer is not hereditary, habits are. My Mom just passed away from cancer following my Aunt and Uncle. The foods they grew up with so did we. The habits in their life, we learned that too. That is not hereditary, it's what we know but we also have choices on what we put in our bodies every day. Try a whole food diet and break the cycle, try for one week and see how much better you feel then let us know.

5 minute Berry Sorbet with Vitamix.

2 cups frozen Organic mixed berries.

3/4 Cup Coconut or Almond milk.

3 Tbsp Agave or Monk Fruit

You may add a little ice for extra thickness.

Start out slow blend for 10 seconds and work your way to high for 20 seconds.

Done! Enjoy

Everytime we consume meats of any kind, we also consume what's given to them throughout their life like... hormones for faster growth, several antibiotics so they don't get a sickness that might spread to one another, mercury if a fish eater....readable levels of mercury because they are farm raised swimming around with thousands of other fish consuming each others urine and f***s. Think about that....what else are they putting in them we don't know about?

Please do research on where these products came from if you want meat in your diet. Your body will thank you.

Gluten free homemade Chicken noodle soup.

2 grilled chicken breast then cube in small cubes.

1 cup Chickpea pasta boiled for 5 minutes.

1 box Organic Chicken bone broth.

2 sliced lg celery stalks

2 sliced lg fresh carrots

1/2 onion

2 Bochoy stalks

1 tbsp Basil

Salt to taste, I use 1 cube Knorr Chicken bouillon

Add all ingredients to crock pot and let it go for a few hours. You can freeze leftovers as well for a later time :)

Tired of buying leafy greens just to have them turn slimy a few days later and in the garbage it goes? It's the moisture that collects in the containers the leafy greens come in. Take them out of the container and put them in paper bags, 6 days later still crisp👍
