Seeking therapy isn’t waving a white flag or surrendering. It’s like taking inventory. Just as a store must appraise what’s in its inventory, we must check in with ourselves. How are we feeling? How are we sleeping? What stress isn’t being alleviated? Do we feel alone?

It seems like more and more people are coming forward with their struggle to concentrate. While most people have trouble focusing from time to time, when it happens frequently, it can create added stress and anxiety in our lives.

Some common signs of difficulty concentrating include:
Making careless mistakes
Falling behind in work or school
Easily forgetting appointments or important details
Struggling to start and complete routine tasks

Sleep, diet, stress, and anxiety can all impact your ability to focus, as can certain medications.
