Did you know that World Trauma Day has been observed since 2011 as part of Bone & Joint National Action Week? It’s a day to raise awareness about how critical timely care is when trauma strikes, whether it’s a car accident, a fall or any other serious injury.

According to the World Health Organization, half of road traffic deaths in developing countries could be prevented with faster and more effective emergency care. Trauma awareness matters because every second counts.
