Check this out! We’ve got this really cool ancient artwork of Nut, the sky goddess, that’s over 3,000 years old! It comes from the New Kingdom period in Egypt, around 1300 BCE. This piece was discovered in the Temple of Hathor at Dendera and it depicts Nut stretching over the Earth, which symbolizes the whole cycle of night and day. It’s fascinating how the Egyptians linked their myths to what they saw in the sky. I mean, if you look closely, Nut’s shape really resembles the Milky Way, which we can still see shining bright above us today!
