Introducing Moon Bukas Bodywork's newest coworker- Nala Lala Ding D**g! Nala is new to bodywork but a natural. She's very quiet during session unless someone enters the parking lot in which she gives a mild woof to let me know. We are still working on not being a terrifying guard dog when a client comes in the door but she is always so sweet and kind once she approaches. Nala's specialties are sitting on the couch next to you and putting her head in your lap or bringing you her favorite toy with an irresistible smile. Welcome to the team Nala you bring a special light your previous co-worker Wolf would approve of.

Greetings Bend! I've an office space for rent inside my suite for the right person. The room itself is 7'x11' and would be completely yours to use whenever you wish. There is a waiting/break area with a mini fridge, filtered water, hot tea situation and microwave, a utility sink and Wi-Fi. Rent is $500 plus pay month's rent. What you see here is a picture of a client's back mid-treatment. The left shoulder is a clear picture of the degree of tension and stress this client came in with. The right shoulder is how it looks back in its home after treatment. I identify as a therapeutic bodyworker more so than a massage therapist- because the work I do is deep, detailed and transformational. If this is the kind of work you're looking for out of a 'massage', my books are currently open for new clients. I frequently hear about the reluctant and expensive search for the 'one' who will go deep and not just skim the surface of your body. You found them. After placing my hands on literally tens of thousands of bodies, my philosophy is that of a deep respect for the nervous system while also reaching for the biggest shift the body is ready to make. I stay conscious and connected throughout our session in order to respond to the micro communications your body makes, tracking breath patterns and the rhythm of resistance and softening in your tissues. I don't believe in no pain no game we have all had enough of pain. Pain causes a fight or flight response, flooding the body in cortisol and adrenaline and increasing inflammation. Instead, I believe in coaxing, in facilitating a safe body response as I work out and smooth and release the story of your life from your body. I didn't get to this place in my work overnight but after a lifetime of devotional laying on of my hands. I cannot say enough good about this woman, her heart, her devotion, her decades of experience and the consistency with which she has shown up in my life and countless others. Every time I go to one of her gong meditations, my nervous system lets go of another layer of stress and my body restores, deeply. She also blows kisses at me but I pay extra for that. Just kidding.
