Dance Your Prayers, May 19th,12:00 - 1:30pm. Unity Community of Central Oregon.
We come together to authentically move to music that inspires creativity, wellbeing and the embodiment of our prayers. Let the music evoke our grounding and presence, tuning into the movement of your prayers, letting go of that which may be in the way of your desire, and opening to claiming and stepping into full embodiment of your affirmative prayers. We explore prayer for self, others, the earth and all beings. What we feel and embody we create. Come explore and have fun, shifting into the full possibility that life has for you and all. No dance experience necessary. Register at https://unitycentraloregon.org/dance-your-prayers/
Donations to Unity $10-$20.
Facilitated by Beth Welton-Miller

About us.....

Lynne Herbert has been a licensed professional counselor since 2000 and opened a private practice, the Attachment Center of Central Oregon, in 2006. Her work addresses attachment and relationship patterns which are adaptations to trauma, abuse, negative experiences, and life challenges. A major component of Lynne's self care to be able to do the work that she does has been movement. This has been through going to workshops (meditation, Feldenkrais, 5Rhythms, Soul Motion) as well as seeing outdoor play as a mindfulness practice, a way to replenish and care for the soul. In 2020 Lynne launched Soul in Motion (you can learn more at soulinmotionbend.com) and will be teaching individual classes and workshops in addition to co-facilitating Conscious Dance Bend with Beth.

Beth Welton-Miller is a lover of present, connected awareness and “in your body” ways to cultivate these qualities. Her background is in experiential body-centered learning, body-centered psychology, energetic practices, sound healing, universal spirituality and mindfulness. She has been doing free form dancing most of her life for self expression, feeling good, moving through life's challenges. She has used the power of music and different rhythms to evoke her aliveness and clarity. She is influenced by the practice of 5 Rhythms, dancing this style for 30+ years. She holds a Masters degree in Adult Learning, Certifications in Body Centered and Conscious Relationship Therapy from the Hendricks Institute, an Ordained Minister, and Master practitioner of Energy Medicine. She has taught in public schools, colleges and privately.
