There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to bring out the smiles here at High Desert 🎈💛

Today, our seniors turned a simple game of balloon tennis into a whole lot of laughter, movement, and joy. With every tap and volley, the room filled with energy, cheers, and playful moments that reminded us all—fun has no age limit!

What a beautiful day for an adventure! 🌲🚐

Our residents enjoyed a scenic drive out to Sunriver, taking in the stunning views along the way. The highlight of the trip was an unexpected and exciting surprise — a herd of elk grazing nearby! 🦌✨ Everyone loved watching these majestic animals in their natural habitat.
To make the day even sweeter, we wrapped up our outing with some delicious ice cream. 🍦 Smiles, laughter, and a little sunshine made it a perfect day to remember!

Our residents had a fantastic time getting creative in the kitchen making homemade pizza! 🍕

From rolling out the dough to choosing their favorite toppings, everyone got involved and added their own personal touch. The room was filled with laughter, delicious aromas, and plenty of teamwork.
There’s something special about sharing food you’ve made yourself — and judging by the smiles (and the empty plates!), the pizzas were a big success!

We had an incredible time welcoming The Reptile Zone for a special visit with our seniors! 🐍🦎🐢
Our residents enjoyed an up-close and personal experience while learning fascinating facts about a variety of reptiles. From understanding different habitats to discovering unique adaptations, it was both an educational and interactive presentation. There were plenty of smiles (and a little bravery!) as everyone had the opportunity to see and even gently touch some of these amazing creatures.

Experiences like this spark curiosity, bring back wonderful memories, and create joyful moments for our community. Thank you to Reptile Zone for sharing your knowledge and passion with us — we can’t wait to have you back!
