Dr. Kremer is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and has also been the "From the Doc" columnist for Paleo Magazine since 2010. Why I Became a Chiropractor — and Why I Created Wellness Doctor

As I approach 20 years as a Chiropractic Physician here in Bend, I wanted to share something meaningful: the real story behind my journey into natural healthcare and what inspired the name Wellness Doctor.

Long before chiropractic school, my passion for health was shaped by years of wrestling 🤼‍♂️, studying Exercise Science and Nutrition, and later working in Cardiology.

That experience made one thing crystal clear: most people enter the healthcare system after pain or disease has already taken hold. I knew I wanted to make a bigger impact on the front end—helping people stay healthy, active, and thriving before issues ever begin.

Chiropractic brought everything together for me: movement, nutrition, root-cause medicine, performance, natural pain solutions, and longevity-focused care. It checked every box.

I’m deeply grateful for this Bend community and for every patient who has supported me along the way. You’re the reason Wellness Doctor exists and the reason I get to do what I love each day.
