Job Title: Medical Office Manager

About Us: Cascade Internal Medicine Specialists is a high-performing, busy internal medicine primary care private practice located in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Our practice includes two doctors, one physician assistant, and a dedicated team of eight employees. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical practice management, billing, payroll, and population health. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our practice and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Manage medical billing and coding processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Handle payroll and related financial tasks, including budgeting and reporting.
Coordinate population health initiatives, focusing on improving patient outcomes.
Supervise and support office staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and external partners to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
Assist with human resources tasks, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding, including insurance procedures.
Experience with payroll management and financial reporting.
Familiarity with population health management and healthcare quality improvement.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with office management software, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
