Tis the season!! The joy of summer can bring with it summer skin woes. Whether it’s sunburn, chapped lips, insect bites, small cuts, minor rashes and irritation (and much more!), our Native Creations Herbal Salve has you covered! It seems we are always finding new ways to use this healing balm! All of our sizes are in stock! And, our Healing Salve pairs beautifully with our Native Creations Herbal Soak for even more healing power. Create a small skin soak basin for hands and feet or brew a small cup of Herbal Soak “tea” and add to your bath water (best to strain the herbs out or use a cotton muslin tea bag to brew the tea and add the bag to your bath as well!)

It’s always great to get feedback on Native Creations products. I heard from my daughters recently that Native Creations Herbal Salve is wonderful applied to eyebrows and also is better than any eyelash serum they have tried!! Applied to the base of the eyelashes, NC Herbal Salve promotes healthy growth! We already know its amazing ability to promote healing of wounds and rashes, sunburn, dry skin, chapped lips and so much more!! And we know that our salve promotes hair growth. When we use it on our animals, on a wound or incision or anything like that, this product promotes wonderful hair growth, along with healing.

We use Native Creations’ products on all of our furry babies. Ninak is my daughter’s one year old Border Collie. Recently while we were away, Ninak decided to come look for us… running away from the pet sitter and was gone overnight. My daughter cut her trip short and returned home… and we were so lucky that Ninak made it home safely! The only physical “injuries” from her traumatic night away were raw paw pads with some torn skin from running for hours… and she was in obvious pain walking the next day. After one day of Native Creations’ Herbal Soak and Herbal Salve, Ninak was much more comfortable and, after only a couple of days, the skin on the bottom of her feet was completely healed. She was back to helping with farm chores quickly, and so much more comfortable after these handcrafted herbal formulas worked their magic.

For all of us humans and our fur covered (and feathered!) family members, Native Creations’ formulas offer handcrafted healing… the way nature intended.

Guess what newly brewed handcrafted formula we have in stock (and I’m started a new batch today)?! Native Creations Warming Herbal Liniment.

As you can tell by the photo, we’re not high-tech here. This is an age-old, old-fashioned formula with warming herbs and essential oils of ginger and wintergreen. Although this formula is often used to ease the discomfort of arthritis or pulled muscles, even growing pains, my favorite application is as a winter chest liniment. The herbs in this formula are wonderful plant allies for chest colds, backache and chest soreness from coughing, and more. The smell is something my family craves during the winter months. It’s even great to put on the bottom of your feet, add a layer of socks while you sit and sip tea.

Winter can be so hard on our skin. Native Creations Herbal Salve is the number one antidote to dry, chapped, even cracked skin in our home. Also great for blemishes, makes your skin soft and gives it a glow. My oldest uses it on the base of her lashes and eyebrows. It’s also powerful, using plants to heal. A few nights ago I woke with pain and heat in my heel, a painful fissure was full of heat and throbbing. A “glob” of salve, bandaid and a few hours… the pain and heat was gone. Another application and the fissure was closed up… no more cracked, painful skin!

This tin of Native Creations Herbal Salve has been in my purse, my pocket, my backpack… it goes everywhere. I pull it out to use as lip balm, lotion, for bug bites, scrapes and every animal on our property. This weekend I was on deadline for the magazine I work for and was having terrible neck pain causing a headache. Out of desperation, I decided to try some salve on my neck. Within minutes, I had relief from the pain. Arnica Montana for sore muscles soft tissue, St. Jonn’s Wort for nerve type pain… and so many other healing plants are found in this handcrafted, magical potion. I tried it again last night.
