I will be moving offices. I loved my little sublet for the last year and am so grateful for the opportunity to flex my wings. I am excited and nervous about the change. Someone asked me recently how many visits do I meet with clients? It varies! For 2024, my average visit families was 2! But I had many families that were a one and done. And many where I met with them for 4-6 visits. Whether I get to join your journey for one visit or many, it is an honor to be entrusted with assisting you and your little one meet your feeding goals. I love celebrating your success alongside you. I cherish being trusted when the advice may be to explore other feeding options. I’m here in your corner no matter the goal. I’m back! I recently took the last week off to go on a trip to celebrate 10 years of marriage. It was a much needed opportunity for my husband and I to connect and tend to our marriage garden. We have been together for 17 years and married for 10! It takes work and love to get here. We reflected that in the last 10 years we have set roots down in Bend, have 2 children and 3 pregnancies, I went back to grad school and changed careers, started my business, lost family and pets, gained more family and friends and so much more. Thank you for your patience as I was away. I am back, my cup is full and I am ready to support the amazing families in Central Oregon with their feeding goals.

Y’all, this came today and I am SO excited. This Herbal Handbook by fellow IBCLC is one I’ve been eying for a while. In my practice, I have the honor of serving a wide range of families. The demand for evidence based guidance on more natural and herbal remedies is increasing and this resource is one I will be using daily. Today starts my attendance for the Gold Lactation Conference 2025. Over the next few weeks I will attend over 24 presentations covering a wide variety of topics related to challenges faced with infant feeding and breastfeeding. I am excited to be in a field that continues to challenge me to expand my knowledge and grow my ability to support families in meeting their feeding goals.

New review incoming! Did y’all know I love my job? I get to work with some of my favorite people; new mamas and fresh babies. It is an honor to be entrusted to walk along side you in navigating your feeding goals. My aim is to help families be informed in their choices. Postpartum mental health is also a HUGE passion of mine. As a fellow mom and solopenuer (solo business owner) it means the world to me when you have a positive experience! I am so excited to announce I am officially signed up for the Gold Learning Lactation Conference! As an International Board Certified Lactation Counselor (IBCLC) it is my honor to serve families in navigating their feeding goals. I do that by staying up to date on continuing education and evidence based practice. It took me 1 year to get my Masters Certificate from Portland State University. An additional two years to complete my 500 hours of (unpaid) direct support clinical hours and 6 months on top of that to apply, sit and hear I passed my Board Certification Exam. All in, it took me almost 4 years to get my IBCLC and I had my son in the midst of my journey. All this to say, I am still as excited as ever to continue expanding my knowledge in breastfeeding and lactation support to better serve my clients. I can’t wait to nerd out with my fellow attendees.

I have been playing with my schedule these last few months to figure out how to best serve my community. While Nov/Dec was amazing and I had record breaking visits, I realized some important things through that experience. The first being that I need to reduce my service area. The second was that I needed an office! While I LOVE my work, I am a mama to two young kiddos whom I adore. Being a mama is one of my greatest joys! I think I have found a good groove for this season in life. Keeping visits to 10-12 a week feels more balanced so that I can spend adequate time with my clients (60-75 min visits) AND spend time with my family. In the future as my kiddos enter school, I would imagine that I can expand my calendar and offer more home visits and more office visits. But for now this feels right. Thank you for your continued support!

Exciting news!! 📣📣I just got notice that my Providence contract just came through! I will officially be in-network with Providence Healthcare as of April 1st 2025. Excited to be continually expanding my in-network status so that o can service more families.
