Guest speaker Patty Sherin will discuss the important role that comfort, pain, sleep, and daily rhythms play in shaping mood, behavior, and cognitive changes in individuals living with dementia.
During this session, youโll learn how concerns such as discomfort, hunger, dehydration, fatigue, and medical issues can influence behavior โ and discover practical tools to help identify these stressors early and respond with thoughtful, supportive care that promotes greater ease and balance for everyone involved.

Patty Sherin is an Advanced Dementia Care Specialist, author, and educator who has dedicated her career to supporting families and caregivers navigating dementia. She co-founded the ABC Dementia Course & Community, a heart-centered learning platform focused on building practical skills and compassionate approaches for real-life care.
