Parenting can feel loud, fast, and reactive. Many of us move through our days responding instead of choosing — snapping when we meant to stay steady, rushing when we meant to connect. This workshop is an invitation to pause and explore what peace in parenthood actually means, what it feels like in your body, and why it can be so hard to access in daily life.

We’ll begin with guided reflection and discussion, identifying where reactivity shows up and what disrupts our sense of calm. You’ll learn simple mindset shifts and nervous-system-aware tools to help you respond more intentionally. This portion includes facilitated reflection, light group sharing, and practical frameworks you can take home and use immediately.

Then, you’ll lie back and experience a restorative sound bath designed to settle your nervous system and integrate what you’ve uncovered. We’ll close with a brief circle to help you name what you’re bringing forward into your parenting. If you’re craving steadiness, clarity, and a reset — join us.

Job description:
Namaspa Yoga Community is Hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist.
We are looking for a part-time Licensed Massage Therapist in Bend. We will provide the full set up for you, including sheets, laundry and oils, as well as customer registrations through our online system.

Namaspa Licensed Massage Therapists are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on a commission basis.
Pay is 60% of massage price and generally ranges from approximately $45 to $60 per hour, depending on price of the massage, plus tips.

As an employee, you will receive worker’s compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, and Oregon paid sick time.
Massage Therapists also receive an unlimited yoga pass at Namaspa.

In this 75-minute gathering, we will open with a ceremony calling in the spirit of Mother Cacao to serve as a bridge between the human heart & the unseen. We will honor what is rooted in ancient Maya traditions: that cacao is a sacred plant teacher, a gentle guide for intention setting, gratitude, and communion. Together we will we will sip slowly and intentionally, awakening the subtle currents of feeling and awareness within awakening the heart.

From this grounded space, we will move into a healing sound journey through the chakras, allowing vibration to travel like warm light through the body. Crystal bowls, grounding tones, and spacious silence will create a landscape for release and renewal.

The sound journey will be woven with four restorative yoga poses, each one an invitation into supported stillness and embodied listening. As the body rests, the heart has room to speak. As the breath softens, community begins to form not through words but through shared presence.

Combining these healing modalities, we allow ourselves to connect with ourselves, our community, and the wisdom of the ages. We will close feeling steadied, heart open, and gently reconnected to all, carrying forward a renewed sense of stillness, belonging, and sacred remembrance.

EcoNIDRA is a gentle and restorative meditation-like practice that guides us back into connection with ourselves and the earth. It is a blend of the ancient practice of yoga nidra and forest therapy. We’ll be connecting with nature through meditation from inside the cozy studio.

Like yoga nidra, you lie down in a comfortable position and follow the voice of a guide. During the session, you bring your attention to your breath, various sensations, and different parts of your body, helping you enter a state between wakefulness and sleep. Then you are taken on a journey through the earth, listening to natural soundscapes and allowing the imaginal sense to take you wherever you wish to go.

Unlike some forms of meditation that require active concentration, EcoNIDRA allows you to simply let go and be guided into a state of deep relaxation. It brings us to a deep state of non-doing that helps us sleep better, reduce stress, and restore profound peace, relaxation and rejuvenation to the body. EcoNIDRA practice can have the same effect as 3-4 hours of deep, restful sleep.

Through guided conscious connected breathing, you’ll activate your body’s natural healing intelligence while letting go of what no longer serves. This session is set to music and begins with grounding and intention-setting to create a safe, welcoming space for self-exploration and release.

You’ll be guided through a breathwork journey that may include somatic release, emotional expression, and deep rest. This class with blends her Yin Yoga and Flexologist certifications into a one-hour, floor-based practice designed to improve mobility, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Through guided stretches, breathwork, tension and release techniques, and hands-on assists, we work to gently increase range of motion while helping prevent injury.

Regular stretching can ease aches and stiffness, calm the nervous system, and support better sleep. Each class moves through both large and small muscle groups and incorporates breath techniques along with PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) methods such as contraction and release to deepen flexibility safely.

This course is ideal for anyone looking to reduce pain in the body, move more freely, and build a consistent stretching practice. If you’ve been hearing about the benefits of stretching over the past few years, this is a supportive place to begin.

Over time, you’ll not only open the body and increase your range of motion—you may also discover a greater sense of ease and space within.

Healing Flow can take many forms, and its power lies in its adaptability. This immersive 12.5-hour Healing Flow Deep Dive offers both a personal and professional exploration of how to thoughtfully practice, design, and guide Healing Flow classes that serve all students — across experience levels, bodies, ages, and life stages.

In this experiential, behind-the-scenes training, participants will both experience Healing Flow directly and learn how to skillfully teach it. Together, we’ll break down what makes a Healing Flow class effective and nourishing, including intelligent sequencing, breath-led pacing, clear cueing, meaningful transitions, and accessible modifcations. Emphasis will be placed on balancing strength and softness, movement and stillness, and effort and ease — so classes support physical vitality, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing.

This training is ideal for yoga practitioners seeking to deepen their own embodied experience, as well as 200-hour YTT participants and certified teachers who want to refine their ability to read the room, offer inclusive modifications, and create classes that feel grounded, responsive, and inspiring. Participants will leave with concrete tools, expanded confidence, and a clearer understanding of how Healing Flow can be adapted to meet a wide range of needs, while staying true to its therapeutic intention.

This Deep Dive can be taken as a stand-alone immersion or applied toward Namaspa’s 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Whether you are called to support your own healing and resilience, or to offer accessible, intelligent, and deeply supportive Healing Flow classes to others, this training provides a practical and compassionate pathway into this versatile style of yoga.

Soup for the Soul is an intimate offering designed with care and intention by Samantha Freda of and

Step into an experience aligned with the season that holds space for both personal reflection and community fellowship. This offering is a combination of Soma’s “Journaling with Intention” workshop, fused with a yin class and of course, good vibes and good food!

The physical postures - a balance of yin and restorative - will be accompanied by thoughtful journaling prompts to reflect on as you soften into each shape. Poses are an invitation to release muscular tension, while journaling is an opportunity to reflect, visualize, and set intentions. There will also be guided meditation, and the incorporation of sound through song and instruments.

This is meant to be a deeply personal journey through journaling, supported by Samantha as your guide. No writing experience is necessary, and sharing with the group is not a part of the process unless you feel called to.

Samantha will be offering a delicious Soma Wellness soup at the beginning of the workshop - plant based and gluten free!
