�Q: Are the frames heavy or bulky?�A: No. They are surprisingly stylish and light! They come in 2 models, 3 sizes, and 2 colors.

Q: Can you use premium lens technology with Nuance?�A: Yes! All Essilor products are available with Nuance, including Transitions, Varilux, Crizal coatings, etc. Non-prescription is available, as well.

Q: How much does the Nuance frame cost?�A: $1200 for the frame and then add the lens costs depending on which products you choose to use with it. Note: Hearing aids range between $2000 and $7000 and complete pairs of eyeglasses can range from $99 to over $700.

Q: Does Nuance replace hearing aids?�A: No. Nuance enhances hearing, but severe hearing loss will need to be addressed with traditional hearing aid devices. Nuance is not made to be used with hearing aids.

Dr. Ron Guiley continues to be our local mentor and jokester. He has a long list of loyal patients that have followed him from his previous clinics. He’s seeing his patients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Dr. Keiji Shiyomura “Dr. KG” is quickly gathering a following of loyal patients who appreciate his thoroughness and warm personality. He’s seeing his patients on Mondays through Fridays.

Dr. Katie Tsui (pronounced “Trey”) joined our CVC team in 2024. She brings the most recent optical knowledge from Pacific University. She is extremely kind and brings sunshine with her wherever she goes. She is seeing her patients on Mondays through Fridays.

And then there’s Dr. Michael Coffman, who is doing a lot of behind the scenes administration work for CVC these days. But he is still seeing patients on Mondays and filling in for the associate doctors when they need a day off. He really appreciates the cooperation and collaboration of the team of caring doctors at CVC.
