AN UPDATE FROM BEND NEUROLOGICAL ASSOCIATES

Dear Patient,

The health and safety of our patients and team members is our top priority. As your caregivers, we want to ensure that we are able to meet your needs during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Effective immediately, we are limiting direct access to the clinic at this time and will be transitioning any NON-URGENT appointments to telemedicine or rescheduling for a later date. As individuals are contagious before they show symptoms, minimizing exposure is critical to decreasing the risk of transmission. We will do our best to contact patients regarding their appointments with as must notice as possible but feel free to reach out to the office to begin the process of getting set up on our patient portal.

We urge anyone with fever, cough, shortness of breath, or if you have had known exposure to someone with a confirmed COVID-19, to call your primary care immediately for further instructions.

Our clinic will be available during regular business hours to receive all incoming telephone calls and messages sent through the patient portal. We will continue to process all prescription refills and requests as usual. Please make sure you reach out to our office regarding your medications proactively; do not wait until the last minute for refills. Call the office directly at 541-317-0044 for any urgent matters.

To those that need to be seen urgently in clinic, we are limiting clinic access and respectfully ask that our adult patients do not have visitors accompany them unless medically necessary, and request only one parent or guardian accompany pediatric patients during their visit at this time. Thank you for understanding our need to do so and for helping us keep you and our greater community healthy.

DO NOT COME TO THE CLINIC IF YOU ARE ILL, HAVE A FEVER, COUGH OR SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO PERSON WITH CONFIRMED COVID-19.

Here are some actions you can take to protect yourself:
