A supportive Yin practice accompanied by thoughtful prompts to reflect on as you sink into each shape.

The evening will incorporate yoga, breath and sound medicine as we move between postures and journaling.

Afterwards we will gather in the cafe to enjoy one of Soma’s well-loved soups for dinner! 🍲

This event is special to me; it feels like a great returning. Ocean City is where it all started, and the community I found there breathed life into Soma with their love and support.

Two years and a cross country move to Oregon later— I am coming back to my hometown with more to serve than food. Returning to the same space, with a new remembering of who I am—that has brought out the gifts I was always meant to offer. 💛

I took a break from posting this month, and I gotta say— it felt really good. As business owners we spend so much time working on our online presence, but I needed some time to just be present. 💛

Soma had some amazing events this summer, and more is always coming. Watching this company evolve is still a great joy to me.

For now though, I am taking a moment to share in the joys of my personal life: getting engaged, moving into our new space, time in nature, time with loved ones, time for myself. ✨

Soma is getting OUTSIDE this summer!

There is a tremendous amount of energy moving through the world right now, and whatever that looks like for you— spending time in nature is a beautiful way of returning to a grounded place within.

This area of Oregon is incredible! Home to the Highway of Waterfalls, Umpqua Hot Springs, and is under an hour from the North entrance of Crater Lake National Park! 🙌🏽

Samantha, founder of Soma Wellness, will lead gentle yoga in the Hatha style— incorporating pranayama and meditation. She will also lead her Journaling with Intention workshop, and all meals will be catered by Soma! ✨

Co-facilitated with Lauren Davey who will bring our bodies the gift of sound healing, as well as offering her bright, bright light as a host & human! ☀️

In partnership with , whose mission to provide yoga and mindfulness classes to underserved and socially stigmatized communities is something Sam witnessed during her YTT training and greatly desires to support. 🫶🏽

Lauren is a clairsentient sound healer, energy worker, yoga teacher and meditation guide who has worked in healing arts since 2013. With roots in classical music and deep reverence for nature, her offerings weave sacred sound, movement, breath, Reiki, and ancient wisdom into vibrational journeys that awaken the soul. With dedication to continuous training through diverse lineages, and staying immersed in spiritual practice, she channels energy through sensation, sound, and healing instruments. Based in the wild beauty of Bend, Oregon, she lives in devotion to her family, the earth, and the magic of collective healing.
