Oregon WIC participants should continue to use their eWIC cards to purchase healthy foods for their families at any participating grocery store or pharmacy.

Oregon WIC currently has funding, WIC clinics are open and your October benefits are active on your card. We hope for a speedy resolution of the shut down. We will keep you updated with any new information regarding your WIC benefits.

Hopscotch Kids in Redmond:
-Offers free car seat installations and car seat checks by appointment. Has a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Tech on staff five days a week. Appointments can be scheduled by phone at 541-213-2245 or by emailing

Family Connects is an amazing program that is offered to all families with a newborn in Central Oregon. WIC partners closely with the Family Connects nurses and we can also help you get scheduled.

Family Connects is for the tiniest Central Oregonians. All babies deserve the healthiest possible start. Family Connects Central Oregon offer no cost visits by nurses for all families with newborns.

Are you looking for affordable housing? The list at HHousing Worksonly opens once per year. It is open right now until Friday, January 17th at 5pm PST. Make sure to follow the directions very carefully and log back in to the Rend Cafe to make sure you correctly applied. The wait list box MUST BE CHECKED in order to successfully apply.

The annual waiting list will re-open in 2025 from 8 AM PST on Monday, January 13th until 5 PM PST, Friday, January 17th, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
