🌱 Plant Seeds, Watch Gratitude Grow

Gardening is a great way to grow fresh produce and show your little ones where foods come from! Start planting in early spring (herbs, veggies, or flowers) and talk about what you’re grateful for as you care for them. By summer, you'll have something tangible to enjoy! 🌱

Don’t have the yard space to plant? Grow plants in pots on your windowsills instead! You can also look into community gardens and public green spaces near you to get in touch with nature in your neighborhood!

No importa.

Central Oregon friends! Below is a summary of all the food access programming that will be available at Fill Your Pantry this year:

If you receive SNAP benefits and have any benefits left on your card - you will be able to use these funds like a normal farmers market AND will receive additional matching funds.

Please visit the Bend Farmers Market (BFM) booth to exchange EBT benefits for SNAP tokens. You will also receive an additional $100 in Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) and $20 in Protein Perks.

If you receive SNAP benefits and have at least $1 left on your card - you will be able to withdraw that $1 AND will receive $100 in emergency DUFB benefits as well as $20 in Protein Perks benefits.

If you receive SNAP benefits and have $0 left on your card - you will be able to access $20 in DUFB emergency funds and $20 in Protein Perks.

If you are in need of food, regardless of receiving SNAP or not, you will have access to our Fill All Pantries free food bins near the entrance of FYP in the center of the market.

Please look for the “Fill All Pantries” sign and check in with our volunteers if you need any help. Please all bring bags if you have any available.

You will be able to take:
-As many fruits and vegetables as you need

-For single folks or couples, you may take one package of ground meat. For families, you may take two packages of ground meat.

-For single folks or couples, you may take one loaf of bread. For families, you may take two loaves of bread.

-You may also take one jar of preserves!

Unfortunately, we do not have unlimited funds or unlimited food. If you come to the event and we are out of food, please see a volunteer or someone at the Bend Farmers Market booth and we will try to connect you with additional resources.

A huge thank you to the Farmers Market Fund () for funding the emergency Double Up Food Bucks initiative!

And thank you, our community, for your support! 💛
