Hopscotch Kids in Redmond:

Family Connects is an amazing program that is offered to all families with a newborn in Central Oregon. WIC partners closely with the Family Connects nurses and we can also help you get scheduled.

Family Connects is for the tiniest Central Oregonians. All babies deserve the healthiest possible start. Family Connects Central Oregon offer no cost visits by nurses for all families with newborns.

Are you looking for affordable housing? The list at HHousing Worksonly opens once per year. It is open right now until Friday, January 17th at 5pm PST. Make sure to follow the directions very carefully and log back in to the Rend Cafe to make sure you correctly applied. The wait list box MUST BE CHECKED in order to successfully apply.

The annual waiting list will re-open in 2025 from 8 AM PST on Monday, January 13th until 5 PM PST, Friday, January 17th, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted. Recall Alert!! Grimmway organic whole and baby carrots sold in stores across the country are being recalled because they might have E. coli germs on them. These carrots could still be in your home, so it’s important to check! To see all brands affected please go the links below for more information.
**What You Should Do:**
- **Look in Your Fridge & Freezer:** Check for any bagged organic carrots you bought between August 14 and October 23, 2024, or those that have best-if-used-by dates from September 11 to November 12, 2024.
- **Clean Up:** If you find any, make sure to throw them away and clean any surfaces they touched.
