Rachel, co-owner of Free Spirit, is a 500-hour advanced certified yoga teacher with nearly 25 years of practicing yoga, and her heart is in helping people feel strong, confident, and at home in their bodies. ✨
She has taught many styles of yoga over the years, including Hatha, Vinyasa, restorative, yoga wall, prenatal, postpartum, and kids yoga, which allows her to support students through so many seasons of life.
She especially loves working with women through pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause—helping them build strength, stability, and deep self-trust. 🤍
Before opening Free Spirit Yoga + Ninja + Play, Rachel and her husband Seth owned a yoga studio in San Francisco for five years.
She also created and teaches our kids yoga programs, inspired by practicing yoga and mindfulness with her own children as they grow. Bringing movement, mindfulness, connection, and play to families is something she cares deeply about. 🧘♀️🌿
