This fabulous patient came in wanting lip filler and once we started discussing and assessing we made quite the plan!

1) Dissolve her old lip filler (injected elsewhere two years prior), as she had some migration which caused her lips to lay differently than they had before. After dissolving and having her come back about 3-4 weeks later, we re-filled her lips to help bring back her natural lip structure and add some volume as well.

2) Chin Filler! Adding filler to recessed chins is an incredible tool in helping balance the face while also keeping your patient looking natural.

We are obsessed with these results and so is our patient 🥹🤍

We’re so excited to officially introduce Allie, our new Head of Marketing and Patient Experience! 🎉 If you haven’t had the chance to meet her yet, you’re in for a treat—she’s already making a huge impact on our Salt Fam!

With over 8 years of experience in the Medical Aesthetics world, Allie brings a wealth of knowledge and an incredible energy to our small but mighty team. “I love the ever-evolving field of Medical Aesthetics and the connections I form with patients. Hearing their stories and helping them achieve their goals makes my work so fulfilling.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our three kids, skiing, soaking up sunshine in my garden, or relaxing at the beach. UNDER EYES ✨

Many clients come in stating the dark circles under their eyes bothers them (which is a very common “problem area”)!

This is because as we age, the fat pads in our cheeks lose volume which in turn causes our under eyes to have less support, creating the “darkened” and “hollow” look.

Here, we added filler to her cheeks to help revamp that volume loss and support her under eyes more. A bonus to cheek filler is that it can also help soften nasolabial folds (the creases that stem from the sides of your nose to the corners of your mouth) which also deepen over time (see picture #4).

Not only is cheek filler very natural looking but it can make a massive difference in someone’s under eye concerns 😊

Masseters: the large muscles on the side of your face that help you chew. These muscles can enlarge from overuse (grinding of teeth/ TMJ), which can in turn change the structure of your face.

A quick, simple, yet effective treatment is to administer Botox into the masseters to help relax those muscles. By relaxing those muscles, not only does a significant amount (if not ALL) of the pain disappear, but the structure of one’s face can return to baseline as well.

Masseter Botox is also used to help slim the face in general. But not everyone is a candidate!

Many clients come in and have concerns surrounding their “crows feet”— the wrinkles that may appear around one’s eyes when smiling. 👁️👁️
• This muscle is known as the Orbicularis Oculi!

Adding a neuromodulator (ex. Botox) to these areas can significantly decrease creasing along your lateral eye, as well as allow a more “awake” look.

This treatment has been and always will be an all-time-favorite at Salt Aesthetics! How good are these subtle and natural looks?
