I've had low blood pressure for most of my life. The remedy has been to warm some salt water and chug it down with a grimace. That's why when l learned about LMNT I might have shed a happy tear. I'm saying goodbye to regular salt water and putting on a happy face with LMNT in the mornings. My morning runs have also improved thanks to LMNT - salt is necessary for my constitution, but it's not for everyone.

After a run, my go-to is our Turmeric Curry Cashews! Highly anti-inflammatory, they support recovery and taste amazing. I like to add some avocado and then layer the nuts on the nuts on top.....because we love our signature crunch! I finish off with some key supplements in the morning and boom, time to meet the day!

When I first started Gather Nuts, our Simple Almonds blew me away! I remember eating them for the first time: I was mesmerized by the flavor and crunch. I couldn't believe it was simply a nut soaked in sea salt water and slow-roasted. I remember eating them one by one very slowly, turning them over in my hand and eating small bites as if they were sacred.

I was at our kitchen today and had a hand full of these beauties. They brought me back to times of pre-technology when I wandered off to Costa Rica, solely with a backpack, flip-flops, and hiking boots. It was there that got my first email address, and I didn't know what to do with it! Who out there longs for those days!??

We're celebrating Earth Month!

By now most of us know the harm that single-use plastic does to the planet. But what can we do? One easy thing to do is to carry a reusable water bottle. It might seem like a small gesture, but it has a big impact! Why? Because single-use plastic water bottles allow waste to leak into our ecosystems polluting rivers, lakes, oceans, and more.

A reusable water bottle might not be the be-the-ball end-all, end-all, being that reusable water bottle bottles land in the ocean as well. However, it makes sense that reusable water bottles can lessen the impact. ... so for now, they are still a better option than single-on-use.

And exciting news! in Bend is now carrying our Spicy Spicy Red Curry Cashews. They have been a staff favorite from the very beginning! We love them in Thai-inspired bowls for an added punch of spice and flavor.

But let's not stop there! MOC Bend is also now carrying Worthy Nuts! We love sampling these at the farmer's markets because you get the opportunity to witness our customers taste the sweet, salty, and spicy finish that always raises eyebrows!

We will be sampling these flavors this weekend, but you don't have to wait for the weekend! They are already on shelves - just go to the nut aisle.
