How’s your gut?
Did you know that about 70% of your immune system is in your gut? That’s super important right now and I want to share a few tips to get your gut on the road to health! Keep in mind that this is not medical advise and you should check with your doctor.
1 - make sure you’re eliminating 💩 at least once a day (should be soft and well formed). Not happening or happening too much?
Get in some fiber in the form of veggies and fruits or a supplement containing psyllium husk.
Drink more water - either way it’s going for you, water will soften and keep you from getting dehydrated.
Take a magnesium supplement - citrate works well to help things move along.
2. Remove foods that don’t work for you. Try an elimination diet either all at once, or 1 thing at a time. You need to remove the food for at least 2 weeks to notice if it bothers your system.

Dairy
Eggs
Soy
Peanuts
Nightshades
Caffeine
3. Reduce sugar in your diet. Unhealthy gut bacteria love sugar - this is added sugars, fruit juices, highly processed foods and alcohol.
4. Fiber (again) the good bacteria love fiber - it is a pre-biotic. Fiber helps keep you regular and can help remove toxins and waste from your body.
5. Take a digestive enzyme - this helps your body break down the foods you’re eating.
