We are completely booked for the Stress, Hormones & Health dinner talk this Thursday. First St. Cafe worked miracles and managed to get the upstairs room for us for Tuesday, October 27th at 6:30 pm. We have a few spaces left, call and reserve!

You guys are blowing us away! The Tuesday workshop is not to be out done by this Saturday. We've had to move it to the Benicia Community Center (still room 2) in order to have a room with enough chairs. So I'll be making calls today to everyone already signed up to make sure the venue change gets out.

If you haven't signed up yet or you know someone who has been sitting on the fence there's still time to sign up for the Tuesday workshop, but not much. Call us by end of day Monday to reserve tickets (707) 745-2345.

Demand for the Paleo Kickstart workshop on Saturday, July 18, has exceeded the number of chairs we can fit comfortably in the office so we're changing venues! The workshop will now be held in Room 2 of the Benicia Community Center (370 East L Street).

If you've already reserved your tickets, Heather will be calling to let you know about the location change.

We've added a second date to our Paleo Kickstart workshop! Both sessions will be an hour long. $25 buys your own ticket and a seat for a friend/spouse/support person.

Tara Firma Farm members: If our office is your drop off location and you have an order for either 12/24 or 12/31 your drop off date has changed! If you have an order for 12/24 (Christmas Eve) your new day is Monday 12/22. If you have an order for 12/31 (New Year's Eve) your new day Monday is 12/29. This is in accommodation for the holidays and not a permanent change to Mondays. The hours for pick up remain the same.

If you know you will be out of town please call Tara Firma directly, our office will have short hours around the holidays and we will not be able to store unclaimed boxes.

Holiday gift certificates for chiropractic (existing patients only please) and massage are currently available!

If you'd rather not wait until after the holidays for your massage, appointment spaces before the New Year are nearly full: Anouk has one hour the morning of 12/15 and both an hour and a half hour the morning/early afternoon of 12/17. Kim is available for multiple appointments the evening of 12/17. Nia has a half hour available the evening of 12/29. Amy is fully booked.

Holiday hours: We will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day (December 24-26) and closed again on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day (December 31- January 1).

Help wanted!

Beginning October 2014 a part time position for therapeutic massage therapist is available.

Applicants must hold a current license and be prepared to be available for at least 15 hours per week to start with the opportunity to expand as able. Deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, sports, and swedish massage training are all necessary. Prior experience in a health care setting is a plus.

Our office prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive environment dedicated to serving through practice and education. Please come prepared with strong customer service skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, management, and staff.
