Our Journey to American Biodental in Tijuana Mexico

Dear Family of Self-Healers,

This has a been a long time coming!! We finally made the trek to American Biodental Center in Tijuana, Mexico for my sweetie Tunde's dental work and for me to get a first-hand experience. I already had seen the dentistry that had been done for a number of my friends and clients after their visit to American Biodental.

This week is all about sleep! We have been talking about the importance of rejuvenative rest and the ways in which our Sweet Dreams Drambui aids us at night. Sometimes, however, our minds just keep racing and we need a bit stronger support. This is where California Poppy truly shines! We offer it as both an alcohol-based tincture and a vegetable glycerin-based sweet herbal glycerite. Many people find that adding a bit of the California Poppy to their dose of Sweet Dreams really does the trick. We don't add the poppy directly into the ingredients of our sleep formula because some people find that the poppy can make them drowsy the next morning, so it's important to find your dose. If you need the extra sleep support at night, start by adding in just a few drops of the California Poppy tincture to your Sweet Dreams Drambui and increasing by a few drops each night until you find the amount that lends to rest without morning grogginess. We aren't just planting inside the greenhouse, we are adding to the land outside of it as well! Of course!! 😉 Along the walls, we have flowers, sorrel, chard, and kale, but the biggest plantings along the border are 11 Elder trees! Steeped in herbal history, both Elder flowers and berries are highly medicinal. When these trees have matured and the time is right, we can harvest from them but our current Elder tree offerings come from Dr. Catie Morse. Step one for greenhouse plantings? Veggie starts! Health often begins in the kitchen and there is nothing better than walking outside to harvest your own produce. Nevada City's is one of our go-to spots for sourcing veggie starts. You can see an initial selection here waiting to go into the greenhouse soil with so much more to come as we fill the space with herbs, vegetables, even some fruit trees like our new Meyer Lemon! The year round growing that this space will provide allows us so much flexibility, both in what it offers to our own homes, and in what it will allow us to offer into your homes! The first place we always love to spruce up is the greenhouse! It is recovered from the storm damage it received and is finally ready to go!
