Training Loft 714 is looking for passionate certified fitness instructors to join our team. We are looking to add fun and effective classes to our schedule that will complement our strength training, bootcamp and cardio kickboxing program. If you are someone who loves helping others and would thrive in a supportive fitness minded environment, we’d love to hear from you.

I saw this posted and it genuinely spoke to me. Over the last 30 years in fitness, I have seen the “ideal” body type change dramatically. From the super thin waif look in the 90s, to the long and lean look in the 2000s, then the rise of the hourglass figure in the 2010s. This trend has continued and the focus today is on even more curves and a toned body (which is awesome).
The point of me saying all this is that no one can be all of these ideal body types…our bodies are unique and simply can not fit inside every one of these boxes.
So if you find yourself resorting to disordered eating patternes by drastically restricting calories or excessively working out with no rest, you may want to reevaluate your goals.
There is nothing wrong with setting goals they can be extremely helpful, but make sure they are realistic and won’t do damage long term. Love yourself, and your body and always ask for help if you are struggling ❤️

One of our most challenging battles as trainers is convincing women over 40 that they can change their bodies and get in the best shape of their lives. So often we hear “my body just can’t do that”, “I’m to old” or “I have bad genetics” and It’s simply not true!
We are a society of quick fixes and instant gratification and we’ve been conditioned to think that as we age we have to take drastic measures to look and feel healthy. Again, not true!
Cheri’s journy is a testament that if you take the time and put in the work you can reach your goal. It’s no secret how she accomplished this…she trains most days of the week with weights and cardio, stays hydrated, eats a balanced healthy diet to fuel her workouts and keeps a positive mindset. The only magic pill she uses is called consistency.
If you’re willing to put in the work, we can show you the way. 💪🏼fnp
