Staff Spotlight: Karen Harrington

Today we’re excited to shine a spotlight on Karen Harrington, our office manager!

Karen, a native Benningtonian, has lived and worked in the community all her life in various customer-based roles. She joined our funeral home family in February 2025 as office manager.

Karen is active in the Bennington community as a volunteer with several organizations. She has been a member of the Quiet Valley Quilters Guild since 1991 and has participated in the annual quilt show for many years. She’s also a 12-year member of the Bennington Elks Lodge and a five-year member of the Bennington Moose Lodge.

Karen was recently awarded the Moose of the Year Award for the Bennington Moose #1233. She serves on the Lodge Board as Treasurer and is a very active member, always looking for ways to improve the Lodge. The Moose Lodge is a fraternal organization that supports our community, children at Mooseheart, and seniors at Moosehaven.
