Serenity Hospice of the Wyoming Valley held a special memorial service last week for a beloved patient who passed on. Though she had no family of her own, the staff at her nursing facility and our Serenity team became her family. She touched the lives of all of us, teaching us lessons of love, resilience and the beauty of human connection. Rest easy, our dear friend 💕

🌿 Serenity Hospice at the Brethren Village Competency Fair 🌿

We are proud to share that Serenity Hospice’s of Central Pennsylvania Provider Relations Manager, Shailyn Torres, had the privilege of presenting end-of-life care education to the dedicated staff at Brethren Village during their Competency Fair.

Shailyn led meaningful discussions on the importance of compassionate, dignified care at life’s final stage. These conversations help equip staff with the tools and confidence to provide residents and families with the highest level of support and comfort.

A heartfelt thank you to Brethren Village for inviting us to be part of this valuable event — and to their incredible staff for their commitment to continuous learning and quality care. 💜
