Juniper Village at Bucks County was proud to host Professor Matt Bielecki for the second installment of our three-part Fall Lecture Series in partnership with Bucks County Community College. Professor Bielecki took residents on a fascinating journey through the world of archaeology—an exploration of human history through the study of artifacts, structures, and cultural remains. This field helps us better understand how people lived, worked, and evolved throughout time.

Residents enjoyed an up-close look at treasures that revealed stories from different eras. Thank you, Professor Bielecki, for providing such an engaging and educational experience for all who attended!

Sharing cultures is not just a priority—it’s what makes life in our community so special here at Juniper Village at Bucks County.

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with residents and associates. Diwali is a major Hindu holiday that symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. It is traditionally marked with lights, decorations, prayers, and sharing of sweets, bringing families and communities together.

With the support of our associates Banshree, Tanvi, Dinkal, Banshri, and Tulsi, we were able to explore this vibrant celebration. The associates shared their skills by creating henna (mehndi) tattoos for, explaining the cultural significance behind the designs and the holiday itself. The celebration concluded with a special dinner and an educational presentation, giving everyone a meaningful look into a different culture. We are grateful to our associates for taking the time and effort to share a celebration so meaningful to them!

May every light shine a little brighter in our community this Diwali. ✨

Today, we celebrate Heidi Bryk, Director of Powerback Rehab at Juniper Village at Bucks County, as she embarks on a well-deserved retirement!

Heidi’s incredible 31-year career in rehabilitation began after a decade in cardiac rehab and sports medicine. She joined us in 2020 and quickly became a beloved part of our community. Her warmth, dedication, and enthusiasm for helping people heal and thrive have left an indelible mark on all of us and her team.

In Heidi's words, "I love seeing the people we serve get better from illnesses and injuries. This area of the profession has been the most rewarding and pleasurable job that I could have."

We wish Heidi endless adventure as she plans to travel, return to distance running, take up pickleball, and enjoy time with her husband, children, and grandchildren! Thank you, Heidi, for helping so many live fully! You’ll always be part of the Juniper family.

Our Executive Director, Kathryn, and Director of Wellness, Joanne, enjoyed meeting so many wonderful local seniors while sharing the vibrant lifestyle that is Juniper culture. We love being part of events that celebrate connection, wellness, and community. Meet the Leadership Team: Tanvi Boghawala, Social Worker

Since joining Juniper in September 2023, Tanvi has been a guiding light for residents and families. As the Social Worker in our skilled nursing neighborhood, she helps residents find the right resources, coordinates care and ensures every transition — especially at discharge — is safe, smooth, and supported.

“I love helping residents find the support they need to recover and thrive,” Tanvi shares. “It’s all about making sure they have what they need to succeed, both here and when they return to the community.”

Beyond Juniper, Tanvi is a proud mom of two energetic boys and enjoys painting, crafting, and swimming.

Tanvi truly nurtures the spirit of life!

Open throughout the week, it’s a favorite stop for residents who want to pick up everyday essentials—no need to brave the weather or traffic! From cereal to soup, sweet treats to dairy delights, The Village Store keeps everyone stocked and smiling.

Be sure to say hello to Fozilet, the heart behind the counter, who runs the store alongside Juniper's resident volunteers. Their teamwork makes this little shop a big part of what makes our Bucks County campus feel like home.

This past week, we were grateful to welcome Lynne and Connie from the League of Women Voters of Bucks County for an informative presentation on the upcoming November election. They spent time discussing the current candidates, helping residents check their voter registration status, and explaining how to complete and return a mail-in ballot. Thank you, Lynne and Connie, for empowering our community with the knowledge and confidence to make sure their voices are heard at the polls!
