Following the initial wintry mix last night, we strongly encourage residents to limit travel and monitor weather conditions closely.

Additional freezing rain and sleet in the forecast will continue to make roadway conditions unpredictable. Reducing travel helps keep roadways clear for TOB emergency crews to respond as quickly as possible.

Benson NC Connect will be monitored constantly throughout the weather event. We encourage residents to only dial 911 when there is a life-threatening emergency as call volumes are expected to be high.
