Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy (FJDM) seeks to provide hope and new life to hurting people, in various locations, with a focus especially on the children. This "new life" is made manifest through endeavors to meet the physical and spiritual need

s of the poor, the homeless, and the downtrodden, globally. Sharing time, talent and finances enables projects designed to encourage prayer and often introduce some villages to the precious heaven-sent gifts of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary. While placing an emphasis on the vocal aspects of the prayers in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament, we are including yet another element. We incorporate reverent, universally understood movements to the prayers thus enhancing the depth of the prayer experience, which promotes unity with God and one another. We are working with local Church leaders to distribute our Family Eucharistic Holy Hour program in various languages to respective cultures to introduce and teach about The Divine Mercy worldwide, including, but not limited to, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as given to Sister (Saint) Faustina. We also embrace the opportunities we encounter locally to teach and encourage our children and families to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary, thus following the guidance of Our Lord (The Divine Mercy) and Our Lady (The Ark of The New Covenant), joyfully praying these powerful devotions before the Blessed Sacrament. We believe this structure will unite us with the Hearts of Jesus and Mary to bring about healing in the mystical body of Christ. The intent of our work is simple - to share the merciful love God has for all His people. We are called to be His hands, so we extend His mercy. We are called to be His witnesses, so we teach His mercy throughout the world. We ask that you join in our work to bring hope to His chosen, and ask that you prayerfully consider how you can help. Lack of love in chosen souls. (Diary 1702)

Towards the end of the Way of the Cross which I was making, the Lord Jesus began to complain about the souls of religious and priests, about the lack of love in chosen souls. "I will allow convents and churches to be destroyed." I answered, “Jesus, but there are so many souls praising You in convents.” The Lord answered, "That praise wounds My Heart, because love has been banished from convents. Souls without love and without devotion, souls full of egoism and self-love, souls full of pride and arrogance, souls full of deceit and hypocrisy, lukewarm souls who have just enough warmth to keep them alive: My Heart cannot bear this. All the graces that I pour out upon them flow off them as off the face of a rock. I cannot stand them, because they are neither good or bad. I called convents into being to sanctify the world through them. It is from them that a powerful flame of love and sacrifice should burst forth. And if they do not repent and become enkindled by their first love, I will deliver them over to the fate of this world...

How can they sit on the promised throne of judgment to judge the world, when their guilt is greater than the guilt of the world? There is neither penance nor atonement. O heart, which received Me in the morning and at noon are all ablaze with hatred against Me, hatred of all sorts! O heart especially chosen by Me, were you chosen for this, to give Me more pain? The great sins of the world are superficial wounds on My Heart, but the sins of a chosen soul pierce My Heart through and through..."

Reflection: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold, nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot. But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest: I am rich, and made wealthy, and have need of nothing: and knowest not, that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold fire tried, that thou mayest be made rich; and mayest be clothed in white garments, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance. Behold, I stand at the gate, and knock. If any man shall hear my voice, and open to me the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:15-20)

Lord Jesus, it is hard to hear the words that You have for chosen souls that do not exhibit the love that they are called to.

We must look at these words and wonder if You could say the same about us. Help us to look at our actions and our attitudes. Please help us to see our actions and attitudes in the light of how You see them. Lead us to amend what we say and do, so that we are doing what You want us to do, in the way that You want us to do it. Let us root out egoism, self- love, lukewarmness, arrogance, and hypocrisy.

We recall Your word that it is You who stand at the door and knock. Let us hear Your Voice. Let us respond with our actions and from our hearts. We want You to enter. Guide us Lord, so that we too may be a guest at Your table. Saint Faustina, pray that we may know the way to act, and to follow through in all that we say and do in ways that are pleasing to God.

THE SACRAMENT OF LOVE
In his Apostolic Exhortation on the Eucharist “Sacramentum caritatis”, Pope Benedict XVI assures us that; The Eucharist is God's most amazing gift to us.
Through the incarnation, Jesus, the Word of God, lowered himself to our level, out of love, by taking to himself our human nature.
Through the Eucharist, he raises us up to his level, by nourishing us with his divine nature.
Therefore, the Eucharist is par excellence the sacrament of Christ's love.
The expression of his love goes even further. Not only does Jesus offer himself as food for our souls in Holy Communion, to nourish and replenish all the virtues we need to resist temptation and continue on in the great battle for the Kingdom, but he also STAYS WITH US.
Jesus remains in the consecrated Hosts in the tabernacle so that throughout the week we can come and pray in his presence.
He wants to be with us always, give us strength, comfort and guidance.
Jesus Christ, God himself, not only walked the dusty streets of Palestine centuries ago, but he literally dwells in every city, town, and neighborhood, bringing the life of heaven into every corner of the earth.
Today as we go for Mass, let's thank him for not abandoning us, and when we receive the living bread today, let's promise that we will never abandon him.

Lord, thank You for being the Teacher of Saint Faustina. Thank You for these detailed words that we can read about how we are to act.

Lord, we ask You to direct us also and to be our Teacher. As we ponder these words to Saint Faustina, help us to try daily to put them into practice. May we learn to have calm and patience, and to try to not stop being good. Today, and every day, may we be grateful for the smallest of Your graces.

Direct us and teach us, for You are God our Savior. Help us, and those we love, to remain with You all the day long, every day. Lord, remember Your compassion and Your mercy! Saint Faustina, pray for us to become good students of Jesus, our Teacher.

Dear Lord, we are thankful to hear Your kind Words of love to Saint Faustina. Her one desire is to be united with You forever. She lived her life delighting in You above everything. She hears the words that her desire will happen. Lord, we seek to learn from how she lived, and loved, and prayed to You. It is our hope that Your gaze would rest kindly upon us and upon those we love. Saint Faustina, pray that we will learn to delight ourselves in the Lord as you did. Pray that we too, and those we love, will be found safely under the kind gaze of Jesus.

PRAYER OF INNER HEALING by Fr. Bomukama Denis
Hello friends, if you have bad memories, anguish, anxiety, or guilt, the “Prayer for Inner Healing” will address those concerns. It also focuses on forgiving the causes of your pain. Let us pray together.

Almighty and everlasting Lord, I come before you now in great need of your mercy. You are the doctor and physician of my soul. I humbly beseech thee to send forth your healing power into every area of my inner-woundedness.
I surrender to you all areas of unforgiveness, especially those hurtful past events where anger and bitterness have been allowed to fester, causing harm to my physical health.
I ask for your grace to forgive everyone who hurt me in my past. I forgive my father and mother and ask to be set free from all forms of mental, emotional, and psychological ailments.
I forgive my brothers and sisters for their sibling rivalry, selfishness, and divisiveness that have caused strife within our family.
I forgive my friends, coworkers, and neighbors for their harmful actions and unkind words toward me.
I forgive my spouse, children, and all my extended family members, and I ask for your loving grace to heal all the circumstances where I failed to receive the love, affection, support, and respect I needed.
I forgive all those who have violated my sexual purity, and I ask to be set free and washed clean by the power of your purifying love.
I forgive myself for my past mistakes and failures and ask to be free from all destructive consequences, guilt, shame, and self-condemnation.
I forgive all those in positions of authority, especially those doctors, nurses, healthcare providers, paramedics, police officers, government officials, former employers, and members of the clergy who have treated me unjustly.
I forgive my greatest enemies and those I have vowed never to forgive. I break those vows right now by the power of your name, Lord Jesus.
By an act of my free will, I choose to forgive everybody, including the person who hurt me the most.
I release my desire to receive an apology, my need to be justified in my actions, and my need for others to acknowledge the injustice.
I surrender the entire debt of all injuries into your merciful hands, Lord Jesus. I denounce all forms of anger, bitterness, and resentment, and I command every evil spirit that has entered my body through the lack of forgiveness to leave now and go straight to the feet of my Lord, Jesus Christ.
Through the power of your Holy Spirit, I ask you, Lord Jesus, to fill me with your love, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, and self-control.
May your healing hand rest upon me now as I bless all those who have hurt me. I desire to be kind and compassionate to everyone, forgiving them just as you have forgiven me. Solitude — my favorite moments,
Solitude — but always with You, Jesus and Lord,
Close to Your Heart, time passes pleasantly for me,
And, close to Him, my soul finds its repose.

When the heart is filled with You and overflowing with love,
And the soul burns with pure fire,
Then, amidst the utmost desolation, the soul will not experience loneliness,
Because it rests on Your bosom.

O Solitude — moments of supreme companionship,
Though I be abandoned by all creatures,
I immerse myself totally in the ocean of Your Godhead,

Reflection: Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation. Dear Lord Jesus, it seems a paradox that Saint Faustina seeks out solitude and is not lonely there. Her connection to You within her soul gives her rest and companionship. She describes the supreme companionship, the pleasant passing of time, and the rest as You listen sweetly to all that she has to say. Isn't this what we are all searching for? Lord Jesus, help us to know that the rest and friendship we seek is found in solitude close to Your Heart. May we learn to seek out this solitude and to find You there. For You are our Savior, You are the God of our help and the God of our hope. Saint Faustina, help us to learn like you did that solitude can become among our favorite moments, always with You, our Lord Jesus.

God’s powerful final grace. (Diary 1698)

I often attend upon the dying and through entreaties obtain for them trust in God’s mercy, and I implore God for an abundance of divine grace, which is always victorious. God’s mercy sometimes touches the sinner at the last moment in a wondrous and mysterious way. Outwardly, it seems as if everything were lost, but it is not so. The soul, illumined by a ray of God’s powerful final grace, turns to God in the last moment with such a power of love that, in an instant, it receives from God forgiveness of sin and punishment, while outwardly it shows no sign either of repentance or of contrition, because souls [at that stage] no longer react to external things. Oh, how beyond comprehension is God’s mercy! But — horror! — there are also souls who voluntarily and consciously reject and scorn this grace! Although a person is at the point of death, the merciful God gives the soul that interior vivid moment, so that if the soul is willing, it has the possibility of returning to God. But sometimes, the obduracy in souls is so great that consciously they choose hell; they [thus] make useless all the prayers that other souls offer to God for them and even the efforts of God Himself…

Reflection: He hath made a remembrance of his wonderful works, being a merciful and gracious Lord. (Psalm 110:4)

Lord God, Saint Faustina describes the miracle of Your Mercy experienced by souls at the moments close to their death. She tells of an interior moment when a soul, aided by prayer, is offered the possibility of returning to You.

Oh Lord, let none of us refuse Your Mercy!! “How beyond comprehension is Your Mercy!” Merciful and Compassionate God, let every soul be illumined by Your Grace and the power of Your Love, and turn to You for forgiveness in life, especially at the moment of death.

Saint Faustina, please continue to intercede from Heaven for the souls that are dying, and may we too assist with our prayers when God calls on us to do so. Saint Faustina, please pray for us, and those we love, to be always turning to the wondrous Mercy of God!
