***Changes coming to Medicaid***
What To Know
Finding a job brings purpose, meaning, and economic independence, which can lead to better health. That’s why DHS will launch a community engagement requirement for certain beneficiaries who receive Medicaid through ARHOME.
This means if you are not exempt, you will need to work, volunteer, or take classes for a minimum of 20 hours per week (80 hours per month) to keep your benefits.
If you or someone you know is between the ages of 19 and 64 and is served by ARHOME, the community engagement requirement may affect your benefits. More details about the changes will be shared soon, but the best thing to do now is make sure you can receive important updates and other information.
Some changes are already in place for the SNAP Work and Time Limit rules. Learn more here about the requirements.
