During Dancing Through the Decades for Assisted Living Week We Have Celebrated the 1930's, 1940's and Thursday Was 1950's. Our Residents Started the Day with Everyone's Favorite Game Candy Bingo and Then We All Met at the Dinner to Eat Candy From the 1950's and Be still Our Hearts We Ran into Elvis "Jeff Mew" Presley Who Blessed Us with A Great Show and Even Gave Some of His Biggest Fans Gifts

We are Dancing Through the Decades for Assisted Living Week and Wednesday We Celebrated the 1940's. We started with Exercise to Get Us Warmed Up for All the Fun and Movement at the World's Fair Carnival Extravaganza. We Played Games and Ate Yummy Fair Food and Competed Like We Were Kids Again for Prizes Then We Ended the Day with A Wonderful Bible Study with Our Amazing Friend Roger Taylor

Today we rolled at the red carpet for our 1940’s themed “Golden Age of Hollywood.” Guests (the residents) were issued a ticket to the show & a bag of popcorn before having their picture made & escorted down the red carpet to their seats for the showing of “His Girl Friday” on the big screen. Each residents name was also featured on a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Our wonderful dietary staff had a Labor Day cookout for us today. Hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, watermelon, lemon cupcakes, and punch. It was a wonderful lunch with friends and family.
