We are a support group committed to helping families know that they don't have to struggle alone.

This support group will come together this Saturday! Come join in, and support each other during difficult times. Many know that the Holidays are the hardest for those who struggle with mental health issues. We will be accepting Donations for Springwoods Behavioral Health in Fayetteville, AR. Donations will be made immediately following the meeting. Join us in taking the items and blessing others who are in need.

Listened to a zoom meeting today about mental health... these are just a few of the notes I took away:

Jay Shetty & Tamara Levitt: A World Mental Health Day Conversation

3 W’s

Schedule meetings for 25 min or 55 min instead of 30minutes and 60minutes- Take a 5-minute gap between both and do these 3 w’s.

Walk- The act of walking gets chemicals moving in your body.

Water- Get hydrated.

Windows- Look into the distance. So that you don’t feel crowded with the things going on in your head.



Greatest barrier to addressing your mental health.

*Time- Busy schedules (find the 5 minutes or find the plan B activity)

*Tools- Not knowing the tools we need. Find a guide through an APP.

*Tactics- What works for you! Find what works for you and prioritize it.

Check in with yourself and see what the one thing you need to do for yourself today is!

Change your environment to change your mood!

Sight- What you see that makes you happy. Colors/Imagery

Scent- What scent relaxes you? What scent can help the atmosphere?

Sound- Music has so much power! What is the sound you want to sleep with, listed to while cooking, or while waking up to.

The importance of Gratitude

Most people do tired on repeat. If you are in gratitude, you cannot have a negative thought. When you open your phone first thing, you let 100 people walk into your bedroom first thing in the morning.
