She’s on her way! We loved having Rebecca with us this summer for her graduate SLP externship! ☀️ This summer our graduate students are participating in externships across the region. We will be highlighting those experiences to show appreciation to our amazing network of community partners.

✨ Madelynn is working with Stephanie Hall at Flight Therapy Services in Bentonville!

Madelynn shared, “I have absolutely loved my experience at Flight Therapy Services! Stephanie has been an amazing supervisor and has taught me so much about feeding therapy. I have learned the importance of pairing oral motor exercises with functional skills to improve feeding, language, and overall quality of life. I am excited to continue learning from Stephanie throughout the semester!”

We love when our students get experience with oral motor work with our most precious patients! Did you know that addressing lip closure can help to decrease a forward tongue posture? This amazing SLP student is providing quick stretches to the upper lip to help activate it for work on bilabial closure!
