As we ease into the new year, here are 5 therapist-approved habits to carry with you into 2026 - AKA simple, supportive ways to nurture your well-being without pressure or perfection. ✨

✔ Intuitive dancing - Let your body move how it wants to release stored stress.

✔ "Voo" Breathing - Inhale gently through the nose, then exhale slowly while making a deep “vooooo” sound (low, steady, vibrating in the chest and belly). This vibration stimulates the vagus nerve, releases tension in the throat and diaphragm, and signals safety to the nervous system.

✔ Pelvic rocking or slow hip circles - Gentle, repetitive pelvic movement signals safety to the body and releases tension many women hold unconsciously.

✔ Hand-on-heart + hand-on-belly breathing - Softens self-soothing pathways while reinforcing mind-body connection.

✔ Sensory nesting - Creating a cozy “nest” with low lighting, textures, warmth, and scent (especially during luteal or menstrual phases).

Your mental health matters every season. Save this for later and take it one healthy habit at a time! ✨

🌟 Meet Our Registered Dietitians, Jennifer Meyers & Sarah Stuart! 🌟

Jennifer Meyers, MS, RDN, LD:
“I work with clients on body acceptance and overcoming perfectionism—teaching you how to recognize your natural hunger and fullness cues and honor them.
My hope is for every client to feel truly seen and heard. I aim to help you support yourself, nurture a healthier relationship with food, and feel at home in your body for a lifetime.”

Sarah Stuart, MPH, RD, LD:
“For 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting both children and adults as they build healthy habits into their daily lives. Much of my career was spent at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where I worked in diverse roles helping families better understand their child’s health through individualized nutrition counseling, family support, and motivational interviewing. My experience sparked a deep passion for helping people identify and maintain their health goals—improving their relationships with food and their bodies. Since leaving ACH, I’ve continued to guide individuals in cultivating a healthy, empowered relationship with nutrition and body image.”

💛 We’re grateful to have Jennifer and Sarah on our team!

This season of giving and connection, we tried something new at our Women’s Wellness Partners holiday party. ✨

Instead of traditional activities, each team member brought a craft they hand-made, sharing their creativity and a piece of themselves with the group. We were reminded that connection can take many forms, and creativity is a powerful one. As a bonus, creative expression is a proven way to boost mood and support positive mental health, which is helpful during the busy holiday season. 💛

*Other goodies from our therapists include custom tic-tac-toe sets from Jeni, plants from Holly, local honey from Lindsey, and wish candles from Savannah B!

Women’s Wellness Partners hosted a very merry holiday party this weekend! We celebrated the magic of the season with our own "Hogsmeade Market", featuring handmade gifts crafted by our team.

We've always known we had an incredible group, but they truly showcased their talent and creativity, from homemade vanilla elixirs to beautifully crafted woodworking pieces and festive treats of every kind. As we wrap up the year, we're grateful for the chance to gather, celebrate, and share another year of connection with these amazing women.

Wishing everyone a warm and wonderful holiday season!✨🎄
