Research from the McKinsey Health Institute shows that with proven interventions, we have the opportunity to:
➡️Prevent up to 1 million deaths in the U.S. every year
➡️Reduce time spent in poor health from 52 days to 34 days per person annually

Real change depends on working together.

Imagine giving everyone back more than two extra weeks of health every year! Let’s make that future real—together.

Research from the McKinsey & Company Health Institute shows that by 2050, investing in prevention, early detection, and better management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer could unlock $3 trillion in economic gains in the United States.

Every $1 invested in addressing noncommunicable diseases could return up to nearly $5, through stronger workforces, higher productivity, lower health care costs -- and most importantly -- healthier people and stronger communities.

Health isn’t a cost. It’s capital. Let’s invest in prevention like our future depends on it -- because it does.

In the United States, people spend an average of 52 days in poor health every year due to the burden of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) – from diabetes and heart disease to cancer and long-term mental health conditions, according to the McKinsey Health Institute.

But this future isn’t inevitable. With prevention, early action, and whole-person care, we can change the trajectory, together.

Let’s make those 52 days count by preventing what we can, managing what we can’t, and investing in lifelong health.
