Residents in assisted living enjoyed another relaxing and creative afternoon at Joyful Canvas as they gathered for a special painting session in the activities room.

During this class, residents learned how to paint a beautiful Japanese apple blossom using acrylic paint on canvas, creating lovely pieces filled with soft colors and springtime charm. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, encouragement, and artistic expression as everyone added their own unique touch to their artwork.

Joyful Canvas meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 PM in the activities room, offering residents a wonderful opportunity to socialize, learn new skills, and enjoy the joy of painting together.

Bingo has a rich history dating back to the 1500s, originating in Italy before becoming a beloved pastime across the world. Over the generations, it has brought people together through excitement, friendly competition, and joyful anticipation with every number called. Today, bingo continues to hold a special place in many hearts and remains a favorite game for some, bringing back fond memories of laughter, prizes, and time shared with friends.

Here at our community, we continue the tradition with Bingo held every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Main Dining Room. There is something wonderfully nostalgic about gathering around the tables, listening for lucky numbers, and celebrating each winner.

Residents enjoyed a delightful outing to the charming Pie House, where the warm aroma of fresh coffee and homemade pies welcomed everyone into a beautifully decorated farmhouse-inspired setting. Surrounded by vintage décor, colorful pottery, antique kitchen accents, and cheerful spring touches, the atmosphere felt both cozy and elegant.

Residents gathered around the rustic farmhouse table sharing conversation, laughter, and delicious slices of pie while taking in the unique character and comforting charm of the café. The outing provided a wonderful afternoon of fellowship, sweet treats, and treasured moments together in a setting that felt both nostalgic and inviting.

A lovely morning was enjoyed as several of our ladies visited the Bentonville Public Library for a creative and relaxing art class centered around designing beautiful succulent gardens. Residents carefully arranged vibrant succulents into decorative containers before adding charming fairy garden accessories, creating whimsical miniature displays filled with personality and imagination.

The class provided a wonderful opportunity for creativity, laughter, and social connection as the ladies shared ideas and admired one another’s unique creations. Each resident left with a beautiful handcrafted garden and fond memories of an inspiring morning together. Join us next month for this monthly outing!

Our assisted living residents came together for a festive and elegant Cinco de Mayo afternoon celebration filled with wonderful conversation, delicious cuisine, and cheerful hospitality. Residents enjoyed handcrafted margaritas and a selection of other fine beverages while gathering around a beautifully arranged dip and olive table featuring savory accompaniments and fresh flavors. Warm quesadillas and an assortment of delightful baked treats added the perfect touch to the afternoon’s upscale dining experience.
The celebration provided a welcoming atmosphere where residents could relax, socialize, and enjoy the lively spirit of Cinco de Mayo in a refined and joyful setting surrounded by friends and laughter.

What a beautiful morning we shared at our Hearts in Bloom Mother’s Day Brunch at Village on the Park Bentonville.

It was truly special to see residents, families, friends, and neighbors gathered together celebrating the incredible mothers and grandmothers who mean so much to all of us. From the delicious brunch to the floral handprint keepsake craft, the morning was filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and cherished memories.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event so memorable. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder that community is built through connection, love, and time spent together.

A special thank you to Legacy Physical Therapy for all of their help in making this event extra special. We are so grateful for your partnership and support.

Residents of our Independent Living Community gathered for a beautifully combined Cinco de Mayo celebration and monthly birthday social, creating an event filled with elegance, laughter, and lively entertainment. Guests enjoyed a delightful spread featuring a sophisticated dip and olive table, flavorful Mexican-inspired cuisine, festive cocktails and margaritas, and a chocolate birthday cake to honor the month’s celebrants.
The experience was made even more memorable by the wonderful musical entertainment provided by Isaac Kenneth, whose familiar variety of songs created the perfect atmosphere for socializing and celebration. Residents fully appreciated his performance and warmly welcomed the opportunity for his return in the future. As music filled the room, friends gathered together to sip cocktails, celebrate birthdays, and enjoy the vibrant spirit of the occasion in a truly refined and joyful setting.
