✨ Resident Feature: Frank Brandon
Hidden Springs Senior Living would like to share the incredible story of Frank Brandon. Born on March 5, 1920, in New York City, Frank has lived a life defined by courage, service, and resilience.
During World War II, Frank was drafted into the U.S. Army and chose to serve in the Army Air Corps. He became one of the first combat glider pilots, flying dangerous airborne missions that carried troops and supplies behind enemy lines. During a mission in Holland, Frank’s glider was shot down, and he spent eight months as a prisoner of war.
After the war, Frank continued serving his country for more than 50 years as a civilian employee with the Department of Defense, dedicating a lifetime to public service.
Today, Frank’s stories, his love of Christmas, and adventurous spirit continue to leave a lasting impression on everyone who meets him. We are proud to call him a friend and honored to share in a small part of his incredible journey.
