Legacy Village Assisted Living

Legacy Village Assisted Living Green House homes are owned and operated by Community Development Corp, a non-profit housing organization in Bentonville, Ar. The Green House homes are supported by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The Green House model, developed by Dr. William Thomas, creates a small intentional community for a group of Elders and staff representing a radical departure from traditional care facilities. The model alters facility size, interior design, staffing patterns, and method of delivering clinical services. The primary purpose is to serve as a place where Elders can receive assistance and care while focusing on life. All services are provided in a way that accomodates the preferences of each Elder while respecting their choices, independence, individuality, privacy and dignity.
