2 pg collage for January’s reflection “a different sunrise”
I made a significant lifestyle change and gave up alcohol and cannabis completely. I was never a heavy user but even intermittent use changed my life’s course. A wise person came into my life and said that those things separate us from our spirits. I had never heard that one before! So I tried it and i’ve noticed a profound change. I’m now more connected to my souls essence and the subtle energies around me. I know mother earth is changing a lot and I feel very connected to what’s happening. I understand I need to prioritize my own soul as the most important place to turn for guidance and healing. For me, there’s no more time or place for disassociation. Rather I feel called to sit with all the many waves of energies and emotions that rise and fall each day. I don’t tell other people to do things because only you know what’s right for you. But I do understand that every choice we take matters profoundly and one day you might wake up and witness that the sun rises differently than before.

Wooweee!! This is my post-gym yoga pose for recovery: legs up the wall.

I LOVE going to the gym and working out 🏋️‍♀️ really hard. We did back squats and all sorts of kettlebell exercises this afternoon.

As an entrepreneur, I find this an essential part of my life. Why? Because owning a business is so HARD. However, after the gym I feel as if I can tackle anything!!! So the motto is “do hard s**t (lift heavy)” and then the other stuff becomes waaaay less difficult.
