Christion's Battle With Leukemia On August 6,2015 5 yr old christion smith was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Given a 3 1/2 yr treatmen On August 6,2015 was a Parents worst nightmare.

Christion the Son of Johnathan & Ashley Smith was rush to the local Hospital to find out he was severally Anemic. He was pail and very weak. Christion was sick. His parents knew something just wasn't right. They sent him to University Of Kentucky Children's Hospital were he is now admitted. And confirmed that he has Acute Leukemia. He will have a Bone Marrow Test, Spinal Tap to check his Spinal Fluids, And a Port put in. He will begin treatment on Monday August 10th. The Dr has told his Parents that his treatment will be for 3 1/2 years. Christion and his family has a long road ahead. We are selling shirts in order to help his family with travel expenses, food, Hotel stays, and other expenses he will have. We want to Thank everyone in advanced who has order shirts or donated money to help his family. And Prayers are appreciated.

It's been a while since I've posted an update on Christion. He's doing good. He has about 8 months of chemotherapy left and he will be done with treatment! In less than two months he will be done with 2nd grade at school!

Haven't posted in a while so a little update.Christion is doing good. Enjoying 2nd grade at school!

The dr. Just came in christion does have pneumonia.. please say a prayer that this heals quickly!!!!

Christion will be going to the clinic tomorrow for IVIG transfusion, then he will be going back on Friday to get his lumbar puncture/spinal chemo that requires sedation. He didn't get it last week due to having a cough.please say a prayer that all goes well the next two days. It's never easy to watch your child be put to sleep, but he handles it like a champ!!

Today didn't go as planned 😕...christion didn't get his spinal chemo/ lumbar puncture due to having a small cough and being high risk for aspiration while sedated. His platelets where low but not low enough for transfusion, and his IGG levels are low again.. he is rescheduled for labs and his spinal on Wednesday. Please pray for his platelets and IGG levels to recover quickly. So he want need any transfusions, and he will be able to get his spinal chemo on Wednesday with no problems! Thank you!!

Christion will be going to the clinic tomorrow for chemo. He will also be sedated for spinal chemo and lumbar puncture, and he will be starting his 5 days of high dose steroids.. asking all that will to please pray for good blood counts and everything to go good during his procedure!
