Sunshine Adult Day Health Care Center in Bergenfield, NJ is a Medical Adult Day Care program servicing the senior and disabled communities throughout Northern New Jersey. We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of alternative solutions to cost prohibitive products such as "long term" or "live-in" care. We have created a unique environment designed to stimulate the mind and allow for our clients to live in their own homes remaining active and independent as possible, all the whilst improving their quality of life and assuring their medical needs are fully addressed.
-We provide door to door transportation to and from our center via wheelchair accessible vehicles. Our center provides a full activity calendar including but not limited to dance therapy, professional exercise classes, bingo, beautician, yoga, shopping excursions, weekly live entertainment and daily trips.
- At Sunshine Adult Day Health Care Center our clients are served two culturally sensitive, nutritious meals as well as snacks throughout the day. In addition to all of our social activities, Sunshine possesses a highly experienced medical staff with four "full-time" nurses who assist in a comprehensive spectrum of holistic care inclusive of medication administration, weight, diabetes and blood pressure management, a medical director,speech therapy,massage therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, podiatrists, dental/ophthalmology screenings,nutritionists, and a dietitian all on site. Here at Sunshine there are three social workers that tirelessly attend to our clients general needs in a caring, efficient and focused manner . All clients requiring outside medical appointments are transported in our facility vans.
