Valley Health Vascular Surgeons remind us that STEP-tember begins next week! During the month of September, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) Foundation sponsors a step challenge, encouraging participants to walk 60 miles during the month — one mile for every 1,000 miles of veins and arteries carrying blood and essential nutrients throughout your body. The challenge raises awareness for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), a serious, underdiagnosed condition affecting over 10 million Americans. Find out more about PAD by visiting the link below.
