To be eligible, an individual must:

✅ Be a West Virginia resident (*U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen)
✅ Be 18 years of age or older
✅ Have career employment as their primary goal
✅ Have at least one barrier to education and/or career employment
✅ Agree to be actively engaged in ongoing education, training, or job placement activities
✅ Be committed to maintaining recovery (if applicable)
✅ Agree to provide negative drug test results monthly and/or randomly to their Transition Agent

Hi everyone,

My name is Brittnay, and I’m the Lead Case Manager with Life or Drugs. As the Morgan County Captain for the upcoming Point-in-Time (PIT) Count, I’m reaching out to gather information and connect individuals who may be experiencing homelessness with essential resources and support services in our area.

The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is an annual, federally mandated (by HUD) one-night survey conducted to count sheltered and unsheltered individuals experiencing homelessness. It provides a snapshot of homelessness for housing stabilization programs, planning services, and allocating resources.

If you know of any friends, family, or community members in need, or if you have any helpful information, please send us a direct message or email me at brittnay.lifeordrugs@yahoo.com. I’m here to assist in connecting them to shelters, food programs, and other vital services.

The Circle will be meeting tonight (Thursday) at the Senior Center Complex, 106 Sand Mine Road, Berkeley Springs.
The meeting starts at 6 pm and is open to anyone who has been affected by substance use.
Tonight's topic will be "Managing Conflict in Families Affected by SUD" where we will discuss conflict patterns and de-escalation techniques.
