Your bladder reacts to more than you think. Alcohol can raise urgency, make the bladder more sensitive, and even amplify pelvic floor symptoms, especially if hydration or fiber are low.

You don’t need to cut anything out completely. Just noticing patterns and supporting your body can help you feel more comfortable.

If you’re unsure where to start, reach out to us. We’re here to help you understand your symptoms and find what works for your body.

Your pelvic floor responds to pressure all day. Breathing, lifting, laughing, moving. When that system is overwhelmed or out of sync, even a quick sneeze can feel like too much.

Small improvements in coordination, breathing, and everyday habits often create bigger changes than people expect. Supportive care can make your body feel more capable and more at ease.

Traveling for the holidays? ✈️🚗

Between long hours of sitting, skipped workouts, and extra stress, it’s common to feel pelvic discomfort, pressure, or urinary urgency flare up this time of year.

Here’s why:
🧳 Sitting too long tightens the pelvic and hip muscles.
💨 Stress causes breath-holding and muscle tension.
💧 Dehydration makes tissues more sensitive.

The good news? A little awareness helps.
Get up and move every hour, take deep belly breaths, and drink plenty of water.

Pelvic health isn’t just about therapy sessions. It’s about how you care for your body every day. 💙

Bikers often chalk groin pain up to a bad seat. But there’s more happening beneath the surface.

Prolonged sitting, nerve compression, poor hip alignment, and even breathing habits can all contribute to pelvic floor tension.
When those muscles become tight or overactive, pain can show up in unexpected ways 👉 groin discomfort, numbness, or pressure.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help by:
✅ Improving posture and hip mobility
✅ Teaching pressure management while breathing
✅ Reducing pelvic tension to restore comfort

Cycling shouldn’t hurt. It should feel freeing.
If pain or numbness is getting in the way, it might be time to get your pelvic floor checked. 💙

These symptoms aren’t “just part of getting older” or something you have to push through — they’re signs your pelvic floor needs support.

A pelvic floor PT can:
✔️ Identify what’s actually causing your symptoms
✔️ Teach you how to relax or strengthen the pelvic floor
✔️ Improve bladder control + reduce urgency
✔️ Support recovery after prostate surgery
✔️ Reduce pain and restore normal movement patterns

✨ You deserve to feel strong, confident, and in control — at every age.
If something feels off, don’t wait. A conversation with a pelvic floor PT can be the first step toward real relief.
