Our research group is looking for overweight or obese (BMI ≥25 kg/m2) volunteers 18 and over who are in good health, not pregnant, not currently in a weight loss program (such as Weight Watchers or Noom), and free from diabetes or known kidney disease or cancers to join our new Million Marker Live Well Study.

Take the eligibility survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MMLiveWellEligibility

This new study will help us understand the relationship between common chemical exposures, weight loss, and health. Million Marker offers testing and services to empower people to reduce toxic exposures and potentially prevent chronic diseases

Your participation is completely voluntary and would involve urine testing and possibly blood collection, and online surveys. You will also be enrolled in an education program.

All study steps will be conducted by you in your home and are of very low risk to you. If you participate, you will receive a report of your testing results, healthy lifestyle education, and gift cards to thank you for your time (up to $100).

Applying sunscreen is a vital step in protecting your skin from harmful UV rays and significantly reducing the risk of skin cancer. When it comes to choosing the right sun safety products, it's essential to understand the two main types: mineral and chemical sunscreens. Mineral sunscreens feature ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. They often stand out as the superior choice due to their eco-friendly and hormone-safe properties. On the other hand, chemical sunscreens are more common, due to how easy they are to use. However, many chemicals in these sunscreens can disrupt hormonal balance and damage marine ecosystems. Let’s take a closer look at chemical vs. mineral sunscreen so you can make informed decisions that benefit both your health and our planet.

Not sure which is safer: chemical or mineral sunscreen? Mineral sunscreen contain less harmful ingredients. Learn how to choose between mineral and chemical sunscreen.

Learn What’s Inside

We are a consumer-focused science company, dedicated to improving your health.

We provide a mail-in urine test for toxic chemicals such as BPA and phthalates.

Our toxic chemical exposures are responsible for as much as 70% of chronic disease risk.

Yet if you ask your doctor what you can do about this, chances are they won’t know what to tell you beyond eating right and exercising. While this may be generally the right advice, it is neither very personalized nor is it very helpful, especially if you are doing those things already.
