Come develop your capacity for self-awareness through gentle direct touch, joyful movement and sharing circles.
The Teaching team will explore the essence of Marion Rosen’s understanding of the mind-body connection through demonstrations, shared discussion and supervised practice. The intensive offers the possibility to slow down to the inherent rhythms of our body and to listen deeply to the wisdom held within us. It is one component of a complete training program in Rosen Method Bodywork, and this course is open to both career-track students and those who are interested in personal growth.

Dear Lovers of Rosen Movement,

We are happy to let you know that the Berkeley School has two movement intensives coming this fall, one online and the other in-person. Movement trainings are a wonderful place to experience our bodies in movement, to learn about how patterns of holding hold us back, to rediscover some freedom, ease, and joy, and to enjoy the kind community of other movers and embodied awareness lovers.

Please put these dates on your calendars:

Lourdes Nicolau of the Mexico School, Veredas, will be co-teaching with Theresa Garcia and Karen Peters at the ONLINE half-intensive: September 7-9, 2024. Lourdes is a most wonderful and inspiring teacher, so this is a very special opportunity, indeed. Come and join us!!

Madeline Martin and Karen Peters will be teaching a full IN-PERSON intensive October 22-26, 2024, in Novato, CA. This will be our second in-person intensive this year, and we are very excited about it!

If you are already an intern or teacher, come for refreshment and inspiration! If you are in training, we are happy to be able to support you with more offerings. As always, scholarships are available. Please consider registering early, as it helps us plan, at https://www.rosenmethod.com/category/course-schedule. We look forward to moving with you.

And, as you all know, this work largely grows by word of mouth. Many of us have “miracle” stories of how this word of mouth reached us—perhaps you do, too, Would you help this work spread to others who need it by passing on flyers and information to the communities, friends, and family you think might be interested?

Warmly,

Theresa, Madeline, Kate, and Karen

All upcoming immersions and workshops.
