We are screaming with pride for Alysa Liu, who trained right here in Oakland and just brought home the gold medal in women’s figure skating at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina!

🥇Her performance broke a 24‑year U.S. gold medal drought in women’s singles figure skating, making it a truly historic moment for Team USA.

LifeLong Medical Care was proud to participate in the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum in Washington, D.C.

LifeLong CEO John Jenkins, Head of Strategy & Value Yui Nishiike, and Head of Communications & Engagement Allie Jones joined Community Health Center leaders from across the country to advocate for stronger, more accessible care.

Our team met with Senators and Congressmembers on Capitol Hill to ensure LifeLong’s communities and priorities were heard at the federal level.

Advocacy with our partners underscors the powerful collective impact of Community Health Centers nationwide, sharing with federal representatives with one voice that health care is a right and not a privilege. When people get the care they need when they need it, it not only improves health and saves lives but is also much more cost effective.

Together, community health centers save Medicaid $58 billion by reducing avoidable ER visits, hospitalizations, and specialty care, and support 800,000+ jobs while generating over $26 billion in economic output.

Attending the P&I Forum ensures LifeLong’s communities are represented in Washington as we work with Congress to protect funding, strengthen our workforce, and ensure everyone has access to quality, affordable health care.

This February, as we celebrate love, let's also take a moment to care for the most important heart of all— your own. February is American Heart Month, a perfect time to focus on heart health and spread awareness about cardiovascular diseases.

Did you know that according to the CDC heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States, claiming one life every 33 seconds?

Here are some tips to keep your heart healthy:
