Our residents had an absolute blast this past week making homemade pizza and sharing their incredible travel memories! 🇮🇹🍕 As we kneaded dough and added toppings, stories of past adventures came to life. Our Spa Club was a huge success! Residents enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with aromatherapy, warm towels, soothing hand massages, and personalized essential oil roller balls—all infused with love and care. The lavender bouquets added an extra touch of tranquility, and our residents are already looking forward to the next session (with cucumbers included, per their request!).

Our residents took a trip to Paris this week—without ever leaving Silverado! In Travel Club, we explored the beauty and history of the City of Light. Some residents shared their past adventures in Paris, while others taught us a bit of French. We learned fascinating facts, like how the Louvre is the most visited museum in the world!

From discussing Parisian architecture, both old and new, to enjoying the timeless songs of Edith Piaf, it was a wonderful cultural experience. And, of course, no Parisian adventure would be complete without delicious madeleines—baked by our very own residents!

Each neighborhood had a chance to experience Paris this week, and now we’re setting our sights on New Orleans for next week’s adventure. Stay tuned!

From music and art to poetry and storytelling, we embraced the richness of Black culture and its contributions. It was a meaningful and joyful experience for everyone!
