Excited to see this massive deployment come to life at NET25 Summer Blast 2026 in the Philippines, powered by our partners at Pro BeatBox Entertainment Concept.

From the main hang featuring our PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker and the incredible low-end driven by our 2100-LFC low-frequency control elements, along with 900-LFC low-frequency control elements, this system was built for scale, clarity, and full-stadium impact.

The LEOPARD compact line array and our ULTRA family of point source loudspeakers, including the ULTRA-X80, ULTRA-X40, and MJF series, served as fills, delays, and monitors, making sure that every seat and every moment was covered.

Introducing the latest edition of our “People Behind the Product” series, where we celebrate the incredible individuals who make up our diverse team worldwide. We are thrilled to introduce Imani Hanif, Kitting Supervisor.

Imani plays a vital role as our Kitting Supervisor at Meyer Sound, ensuring every component is organized, accurate, and ready to support a seamless assembly process. His attention to detail and consistency keep production running efficiently, helping uphold the precision and quality our users expect from every system we build.

To get to know Imani better, we asked him a few questions about his work at Meyer Sound and life beyond the office.

Q: What’s your favorite Meyer Sound memory?

A: Probably when I first started back in 2007. I was a little nervous coming in, and it had been a while since I’d had a job. Coming from what used to be NUMMI (where Tesla is now) was a big shift. But once I got on the floor, it just clicked. I liked being able to work at my own pace and actually build things, not just be stuck on a line. And the people made it fun, new folks coming in all the time, and we built a real brotherhood and sisterhood. We had music playing, joked around, kept the energy up. It was fun, but we always got the job done. The vibe was just different.

Q: What’s an achievement you’re proud of?

A: Honestly, making it to 41. Growing up in East Oakland, I saw a lot. Lost a lot of friends to violence and tough situations. At one point, I didn’t think I’d make it this far. So being here now, having a family, being married, raising kids, that means everything to me. Meyer Sound played a part in that, too, giving me stability and good people around me.

Q: What does a perfect day off look like?

A: Starts with family, my wife and kids. I like to begin the day with a little devotion, just being grateful. Then hit the gym. After that, I’m usually out doing something in the community, feeding the homeless, church events, nonprofit work, whatever it is. I’ve always got to be doing something that gives back.

Q: Dogs or cats?

A: Both. I grew up with dogs and cats in the same house. My wife’s not into cats, so no cats in the home now, but the neighborhood cats hold it down, no mice, no rats, so I appreciate them for that. I’m a dog person too though, for sure.

Q: Something people don’t know about you?

A: I used to be into chess heavy. Went to Berkeley Chess School up in the hills and used to ride up there from Emeryville with friends for summer programs. I even won like seven trophies. My dad taught me how to play, and when I finally beat him, I knew I was ready. I was like, “Alright… where’s Bobby Fischer?”

The passing of renowned conductor and composer Michael Tilson Thomas marks the loss of a visionary who reshaped the sound and spirit of the San Francisco Symphony during his 25-year tenure.

"A transformative music director, Michael brought clarity, curiosity, and emotional depth to every performance. At the heart of it all was his unwavering pursuit of sonic excellence and a belief that every detail matters in how music is heard and felt,” said Helen Meyer, co-founder and Executive Vice President of Meyer Sound.

He also led groundbreaking initiatives to expand audiences with the development of SoundBox in San Francisco and the New World Symphony in Miami.

Here at Meyer Sound, we’re grateful to have been part of that journey through our collaboration with Michael Tilson Thomas, united by a shared commitment to delivering the most transparent and impactful listening experience possible. We join music-lovers the world over in mourning his loss.

Great few days at Full Sail University, hosting a Portable System Deployment Training focused on real-world setup, workflow, and system optimization in live production environments.

Led by Merlijn van Veen, our Senior Technical Support and Education Specialist, the session brought together practical deployment strategies and real-world system insights, with students learning alongside industry professionals and gaining direct exposure to how professional systems are configured, tuned, and supported in the field.

Always valuable to connect with the next generation of audio professionals in a space built for creativity, experimentation, and technical growth.

Happy Earth Day! Sustainability continues to be a priority at Meyer Sound, from our product design to all aspects of our Berkeley, CA operations. Our PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker has already made a measurable impact, with its compact footprint, high power-to-weight ratio, and outstanding energy efficiency.

Looking ahead, that same DNA carries forward into our new TIGRA line array, offering a more compact, highly versatile design engineered for a wider range of applications without compromising performance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Las Vegas for the TIGRA and 1800-LFC demo.

It was incredible to share this milestone moment with so many customers, partners, and audio professionals from around the world. The energy, the conversations, and the reactions made it clear: this is something special.

As Nicholas Hayes, Head of Audio at TCU Place in Saskatoon, Canada, shared: “The innovation and ex*****on of hardware and software that has taken place with the unveiling of TIGRA and the 1800-LFC, is like watching a master's brush stroke on canvas. Each aspect of this PA system works in such harmony with each other, all while keeping the end user's lens in focus for its use.”

From the clarity and coverage to the power and precision, TIGRA and 1800-LFC delivered an experience that truly resonated.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and made it such a success.
